College and Young Adults

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:6-7)

We welcome college students and young adults who are seeking a safe place to ask the larger questions of life, such as:

  • How do we know that God exists?
  • How can God allow so much evil and suffering in the world?
  • What are human beings? Are we merely products of evolution?
  • Does God still speak to us today?
  • How do we know God’s purpose for our lives?

Rather than stifling honest questions and sweeping aside doubts, we face them with an open mind and heart, think deeply about our own assumptions about the world, and seek to understand how the Gospel of Jesus Christ addresses these questions.

These questions matter because they have to do with the ultimate reality in which we live. If we want to live well, then we must align our lives to this reality. Otherwise, our lives would be such a hard yoke, going up against the way reality operates.

We are confident that to anyone who comes to God with a sincere desire to know Him, God is more than willing to reveal Himself and His truth.

No matter where you are in your journey of faith, all are welcome to come and ask, listen, interact, and fellowship!
